Although eradicating stress completely is not practical taking action towards reducing its causes and effects can be incredibly beneficial for employers and employees alike.In this three module course we will delve into the common triggers and responses to stress, look at the legislation and guidance for dealing with it and provide actionable advice to help you make your workplace more balanced

  • The emotional, behavioural and physical responses to stress
  • How stress is covered in The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • About The HSE Management Standards and risk assessments
  • Methods for managing the six primary sources of workplace stress
  • Preventing stress in relation to The Working Time Regulations 1998, and
  • Tips for managing your own stress and how to build resilience
