Course introduction:	Unconscious bias can be a major issue in determining how people and groups are judged, which in turn may influence how we treat them. It can also have an impact on people-related decisions in other areas of life, including working relationships and how we view diversity within our culture.This course is intended for staff who work in all sectors of business. It provides information and advice to help employees become more aware of their own unconscious biases, as well as for employers to minimise unconscious bias in the workplace.
Course objectives:	Be more in control of their own unconscious biases Identify bias and consider the effects on yourself and others Define the different types of unconscious bias Describe ways to reduce unconscious biases, including in the workplace Understand the legislation surrounding unconscious bias
